Yesterday&#8217;s parade\u00a0was a physical manifestation of the city&#8217;s diversity, which continues to evolve.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1722\" title=\"Lowell, Mass. sash\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.massfolkarts.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/lowell_175_lowellmass1.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"238\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Just before 4:30, people\u00a0gathered themselves in groups, in preparation for the <a href=\" http:\/\/youtu.be\/hw9WEcfFlf8\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0parade <\/a>to city hall. Seeing those who turned out to march was a testament to the city&#8217;s changing demographics.
