On <strong>Thursday, September 8<\/strong> at 7pm, the Lowell Folklife Series invites you to come hear museum director\u00a0Beryl Rosenthal talk about New York Jewish pickle traditions. Then watch a portrayal of the legendary pickle man in a screening of the romantic drama, <em>Crossing Delancey<\/em>, starring Amy Irving. The\u00a0event is\u00a0free and\u00a0is co-sponsored by  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/lowe\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Lowell National Historical Park <\/a>and the  <a href=\"http:\/\/lowellfilmcollaborative.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lowell Film Collaborative<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"[object]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2017\" title=\"1987 Crossing Delancey film poster\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.massfolkarts.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/1987-crossing-delancey-poster11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p id=\"[object]\">Then on <strong>Saturday, September 10<\/strong>,\u00a0join our bus tour of some of Greater Lowell&#8217;s ethnic markets.
